Unusual Machines Secures Major Pentagon Drone Contract Following Trump Jr. Investment
Unusual Machines has landed its largest Pentagon drone contract to date, coinciding with Donald TRUMP Jr.'s $4 million investment in the company. The defense contractor will produce 3,500 drone motors and additional components for the U.S. Army, with potential follow-on orders for 20,000 units next year.
The deal reflects the Pentagon's push to operationalize American-made drone technology. "Training with combat-ready systems directly translates to battlefield confidence," said Chief Warrant Officer John Brown of the 101st Airborne Division. Shares surged 13% on the news, continuing a pattern of volatility tied to Trump Jr.'s involvement—the stock previously tripled after his advisory role was announced in late 2024.
